Christine Phung is a French fashion designer. She studied fashion design at the École Duperré then at the Institut Française de la Mode in Paris. She began her career working for brands such as Lemaire, Veja, See by Chloé, Vanessa Bruno, Baby Dior and Lacoste.
Christine Phung launched her own eponymous brand in 2011 and presented her first fashion show during Paris Fashion Week in 2012. Her brand is characterized by an innovative approach to fashion, combining traditional couture techniques with modern technologies. His creations are inspired by geometric, organic and architectural shapes, by contemporary art, by a passion for patterns and by a unique look at his time. Christine Phung's creations are emotional and functional.
She won the First Collections Prize from ANDAM (National Association for the Development of Fashion Arts) in 2013. She became Artistic Director of the Leonard house in 2016, a fashion house that she helped to modernize while respecting the identity codes; then she became Image Artistic Director of Princesse tam tam for two years.
Today, Christine Phung continues to create innovative and sustainable collections, with her own brand that is both arty and sustainable while exploring new forms of artistic expression. The pieces are made in France and Portugal, and printed with Eco-certified inks. She is also Artistic Director of the knitwear brand LaFrançaise and works independently for international brands.
